The Ides of March- March 15th 44 B.C, The struggle between the senators is that they wanted Caesar gone because they thought that he had to much power so they carried their knifes and stabbed him 23 times. The impact of this event was that the people were saddened, the senators were banished and the Roman republic never restored to its proper glory.
